galactus123
Hey everyone. I just received a 60's Gibson Falcon amp and wanted to see if anyone could help me find out me about it. The amp has been in my family since it was new. My grandma bought it new and as far as I know it sat in the closet for years and was rarely used. It has all original parts. Im sure it needs re tubed and biased. But I am wondering what kind of money I should be asking for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Peace. G. TP
Vintage Gibson amps are very cool.... I had a Skylark which is a 5 watt point to point wired amp. It sounded pretty sweet but certainly would not hold up against a drummer in a band, but for tube breakup at low volumes at home.... way fun! Do you still have the original two prong cord on it? If so..... get to a tech and swap it out for a grounded 3 prong plug before you either get zapped or burns your house down.
