I live 5 minutes from where the best beer in the world is brewed, at Stone Brewery. :D D, I have tried SGs and Explorers. My hands hurt. Sure the necks are not as big as my Taylor, but I don't play acoustic and electric with the same touch/feel... if I did, I'd buy a Tele (prepares for bashing). My Ibanez has that sllllliiiiick Wizard II neck and it fits my hand like... like... um... ok I need to stop surfing guitar pr0n now. BTW I am the proud owner of a 1981 Rickenbacker 4001 bass... but it hurts my hands too. Boo fricking hoo. Yeah, I am about to buy an Ibanez Mikro unless you fine folks can suggest another short-scale bass with standard size pickups... EDIT: Stoooopid typo...
