The reason I'm asking is that I can get a good deal on a 2006 LP Standard and trying to decide whether to go for that or the 2010 model. brad1 Posted November 19, 2010 Share Posted November 19, 2010 My first Epiphone was a 2006 G400. I think (I may be wrong) that was the first year their factory in China (EE) opened up. The pups are great, and so is everything else about the guitar. If it's an EE model, and you can get a good deal, I say grab the '06. Of course, if possible, you need to play both first.
