It doesn't have that 'budget' sentiment, it's got a bound neck although it just has dots and white button tuners. I reckon it makes it look very 60s. People often ask me how old it is. As for the pickups, you need to decide on that one. If you do go for the Classic I'd strongly recommend changing the 300k pots for 500k. You'll notice a huge improvement in bite and growl.
