The C&W was originally built in the reverse alphabet system 1952 through 1961 starting with a Z in 52 and ending in Q in 61. I would guess your C&W has an R prefix from 1960. The standard C&W was a round shoulder natural topped guitar with double parallegram inlays, a white label with rope inlay around the edge. I had a C&W labeled guitar that was original sunburst finish, during the early 60s they made some with the new cherry sunburst finish.
