Thanks for the info on the labor costs,when you break it down like that i certainly do understand time is money and in the case of Gibson its all so true. Wouldnt surprise me if the Gibson case was 200 but i have heard from others that they make the best cases so to protect your investment its probably worth it. Ive never given a high end guitar so much thought, my hollowbody was a rather easy sale in comparison but there was no choice of colour or prices with it, it was just one colour one guitar with a case. The les paul is an entirely different ballgame. I really love the Heritage Cherry but musicians friend only has pictures of it and no actual price and guitar center doesnt even list a pic or price!
