LesLawrence
That picture of Sheryl Crow with the woven guitar strap reminded me of my continuing search for a nice woven strap. 45 years ago, I had a nice folk art style one that I picked up in Greenwich Village- now long gone. The stores used to have scores of different designs. These days, everyone sells the same dozen or so designs (I'm not talking about designs more appropriate to an electric guitar). Anyone have suggestions where to look. Cheers, Les

Blaster
I had a great acoustic guitar strap that was unfortunately sold with a guitar I owned. Got it at Mandolin Bros in the '70s. It was made out of what looked and felt like raw silk, woven, a light beige-vanilla colour, with tie strings to attach at the headstock and heel. It was perfect for an acoustic because it did not scratch the finish. If I remember it wasn't cheap either, and was specifically for classical type instruments. LesLawrence
Thanks Cunkhead for the eBay suggestion. Don't know why I hadn't looked there before. Can't believe the prices on the 1960's vintage ACE straps though. And mine looked nicer! Can't imagine I paid much more than $20 back then.
