roman
Saw this 62 Les Paul Jr with a vibrato lyre. It looks original and correct. No modification to the bridge location and it is a vintage nickle finish. It even unfaded under the lyre cover. The vibrato isthe style they used in 63, but by numbers this is a 62. Could be a late 62, but it's a 62 by the numbers. (also has Les Paul on headstock) Everthing else on this guitar looks original Anyone know if Jr could be custom orders or special ordered, or did some come with this vibrato? Never saw one. Gaolee
It looks more like an SG than a Les Paul to me. As far as your question regarding vibratos, somebody with better knowledge will have to answer that one.
Cam in alberta
There is an overlap in the SG/LP models . Some were produced before Les told Gibson to take his name off that guitar model.
