b26354
I have a Les Paul Standard I purchased some time ago 1980-81, it's a tobacco sunburst with a sandwich style body (i.e. it has a 1/16th" layer of some other kind of wood between the two layers of mahogany) with a fairly plain maple top, although natural aging of the instrument really gives it a "wow" factor. Anyway, the serial number is 129408 with "Made In USA" stamped below it. I was told it might be a 1970-71. I'm hoping to get a more specific or precise dating on it. Thanks. brad1
According to the guitar data project: Your guitar was made at the Kalamazoo or Nashville Plant , USA approximately in: 1970, 1971 or 1972
L5Larry
The only way to date this guitar is going to be by potentiometer codes. And of course we want to see pictures, not that it will help in dating, we just like pictures of cool guitars.
