Yeah, there are a LOT of cabinets, to choose from, no doubt about it. I've been toying with the idea, of getting 1 (or even 2) of the VM cabinets, to use as extension cabinets, with my Twin Reverb, for larger venues, or "outdoors!" The VM cabinets are really nice, and are quite affordable, too. And, you're not stuck with a big 4x12 cabinet, if you don't need that much, every time (or, don't have the stage room, etc.). IF/When you do, you can stack them, run them (vertically) side by side, or one on either side, of the actual amp.
