neilpanda
Talent show auditions are coming up, not sure if I should go. I remembered have this intense Kazoo battle with my drummer. I also remembered that it sounded really awesome. Should I go for it? This inspired me too
WahKeen
Kazoo playing is a lost and misunderstood art. Sl00shtone has nothing on it.
icantbuyafender
wail some open acoustic chords and a key of C blues harp and you can clutch victory. Our heroes been doing it sinece before we were a twinkle in our father's eye
milod
I think a lot may depend on the audience. When I switched colleges many thousands of years ago <grin>, I did a similar gig doing Jesse Fuller's "San Francisco Bay Blues" with harmonica and kazoo. Check it out on Youtube. The response was kinda one of "say what?" <grin> But it lacked the "gee, you're good, you sound just like Peter Paul and Mary" sorta thing. Hence my comment, "a lot may depend on the audience." m
Daryl M
I'm not sure the average American high schooler can appreciate the musicial stylings of the kazoo...
