sexygibson Posted April 12, 2011 Share Posted April 12, 2011 There is no be all/end all amp for any type of guitar. My Les Pauls sound awesome thru my Fender and also sound great thru my Marshall. bonzoboy Posted April 14, 2011 Share Posted April 14, 2011 The new Marshall JCM 800 2203 KK (Kerry King)is an absolutely deadly amp.Even though it's 100W it can obtain full bore Marshall crunch at relatively low volumes as it has a master volume.It also has a built in buffer circuit and effects loop unlike the original 2203s.King stipulated that he wanted the amps to be affordable to fans who wanted his tone but couldn't afford boutique or signature series prices so it costs about the same as other Marshall heads.It's certainly worth a look if you like an amp that'll crack your cranium with volume if needed.
