Just caught a WildKat.....

Recommended Posts

post-32777-098809900 1304876066_thumb.jpgGC score out of N.Y. WildKat in antique natural for $279.

I saw this online last night in the "used gear" section; placed a call this morning and they stated it was sold but they would double check "downstairs" to make sure and call me back in 10 minutes. No call after 1/2 hour. I call them back and talk to a different guy who states that it's still available (go figure!). He says he'll call me "right back" (where have I heard that before?) after he locates the guitar. I wait.....and wait....and wait. I call them back and decide to talk to the person answering the phone and NOT someone in "guitars". She states there is some confusion as to whether this guitar is on lay away or not. She'll check into it and.......CALL ME RIGHT BACK (GRRRRRR!). Actually, they DID call back, guitar's still available and now I'm on hold again while they find an appropriate case to shp it in.

At any rate, thanks again to this forum and AlanH for turning me on to the WildKat. It'll make a nice addition to the archtop stable

The sales guy stated that it was in "pretty nice shape" and should look better "after we dust it off"....LOL! He also said it played like butter and there had been a lot of interest in it. In fact, there was another customer in the que in case I backed out.

I ran the serial # but it wasn't recognized.

Will definitely post some pics when it arrives.
