JellyWheat Posted October 29, 2011 Share Posted October 29, 2011 in the thumbnail pic with the two headstock pics, are they the same model? i ask because of the holly inlays they are not set in the same place in relation to the tuners. I'm with you... there are several things that lead me to believe the guitar on the left is not a genuine Gibson. Even the picture of the packing slip looks bogus to me. I would not be so quick to blame this on poor Gibson QC. This would account for the difference in headstock width, fret gauge, and positioning of the holly flower... but I thought we were talking about new stock from the same year. Sorry.
