BigKahune
I don't think I expressed myself very well. What I was getting at was the first time you posted about your FIRST Gibson and where you are today. Oh. . . . . . Okay. Man, that was years and years ago. On a bulletin board with like a Commodore 64 and a 600 baud modem. Ouch. I betcha not too many remember them days. I still have my first Gibson - a 1965 double cut Melody Maker with Maestro trem. I bought it around 1972. At the time I had an Epi FT-165 12string, a 1970 Yamaha FG-75 6string and a 1973 Yamaha G-55A clasical (I still have). That Melody Maker set me on the Gibson tracks. Since then I've bought and sold several Gibsons. Currently, I've got 14 guitars, including 4 Gibsons and an Epi. And below is my 1965 Melody Maker, modded in the 70s. Still sounds and plays great.
