ishtar
Does anyone know what the fretboard radius is on the CS-336? Has anyone ever replaced a bridge on a CS-336? Looking for a number (12"?) and advice. Thanks a lot.

Looking for a number (12"?) and advice. Thanks a lot. ishtar, Hi! I have a CS-336, but I'm not exactly sure what the fretboard radius is. The neck is the 60's style slim tapered neck. I love this guitar. It's the best Gibson I've ever bought. I replaced my original bridge (it was an ABR-1) with another of the same type. The original one rattled quite a bit because it was somewhat defective. Gibson sent me a replacement one at no charge. Since I had the new one installed it sounds great. If you get the CS-336 and try to replace the bridge with a different style bridge you will most likely have to do some routing. The ABR-1 bridge fits the style of the CS-336, i.e., more vintage looking...Paul
clayville
CS-336s have a 12 inch radius, a 24 3/4" scale length and a 1 11/16 nut width. Why do you want to replace the bridge??
