ddown Posted June 5, 2011 Share Posted June 5, 2011 I just picked up a Clearance priced Masterbuilt AJ500RE 2007 build with the (I think) Baggs PU it sounds great. It has a 9volt under the fingerboard in a cordura pouch. No external preamp like they had later. Registered online and just love the tone, setup, I was going to buy a martin X1 dread with HPL and fishman this sounded so much better. I think I have the better PU system am I right? Well I went back and Played it and played it got it down to 381.00 the top crack hadn't grown and for that price I took it waited seven months to see how stable it was. Getting the crack repaired sometimes a Certain Guitar just talks to you right and how many fine classics have a repaired crack be it Gibson or Martin the action and tone are so sweet I bought back Today!!!!
