According to your serial number page, the Custom Shop serial number format is CSYRRRR: CS stands for "Custom Shop" Y indicates the production year RRRR indicates the guitar's place in the sequence of production So, going by that format, my serial number has an extra number. If there's really only 1 digit for year, then how will anyone be able to tell the difference between a guitar made in 2010 and one made in 2020 (both 0)? Blazorge Posted April 22, 2020 Share Posted April 22, 2020 (edited) To my knowledge Gibson Custom Shop serial numbers are CS Y(year) X(1=Memphis or 2=Nashville) NNNN (order it was produced). My guess then is your 330 CS052851 is from 2020, made in Memphis and is the 2851st guitar produced that year.
