Condition and modifications are two of the main factors that are considered in valuing a guitar that, while very nice, is not particularly rare. Are you looking to buy, sell, trade or insure? The market for used instruments is fickle, and while "blue book" values are a handy thing to use to start the negotiation process, as a seller you have to ask yourself if the instrument is worth more to you than the buyer is willing to offer.
