Wadhams! Posted August 30, 2011 Share Posted August 30, 2011 I was tempted to buy this little thingy hoping it would remove the hum caused by my compressor pedal. However, I'm pretty sure it's just the pedal. It certainly seems like a cheaper alternative to a power conditioner, which may be a good to have once we get a decent PA. Maybe I should ditch the CS-3. GIANTRobOT42O Posted August 30, 2011 Share Posted August 30, 2011 I bought one because I was having hum issue with my rig and it didn't work at all. Brought it back the next day. It may work for you. Boss pedals are kinda known for being noisey. I really liked my DD-7 but I couldn't deal with the noise. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
stein Posted August 30, 2011 Share Posted August 30, 2011 Compressors are pretty noisy. The Keely 2 knob compressor I had was extremely quiet though, freaky in a compressor. HIGHLY recommend you check into it if you are addicted to compressor pedals. I have a 4 knob-it is not as quiet as the 2 knob I had but still far quieter than the average, and all I have tried for that matter. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
