topdownman
About a year ago I bought an Epiphone Wilshire LTD from Musicians Friend. It was a Facebook "stupid deal of the day" and I got it for $149. I love this guitar. I installed a Bigsby and wail away. What I find strange, is this guitar has no coil tapping capability and all the others I see do. Did Epiphone make them both ways?
EpiEric
Yes, I'm pretty sure the Wilshire LTD did not have coil tapping/splitting while the Wilshire Pro does. "Pro" seems to be the current Gibson/Epiphone terminology for coil splitting.

RaSTuS
Well, I think I'll install some Triple Shots then. I'm pretty sure that the buckers that came standard will only have 2 wired/cored leads, they will have to be modified to 4 wire operation before doing any coil-splitting et al.
