Bought some of those Danelectro travel amps for the electrics, cords, extra strings and tuner for the troops to use. Altogether I think 11 guitars are being sent for Christmas. carv3r Posted November 7, 2011 Share Posted November 7, 2011 i had an ibanez that i put so many hours into customizing. everything on it was special to my ear,.. it sat for about a year untouched and a kid i know i call him a kid hes 20.. he fell in love with it,. saying it has more heart then any instrument he has seen. its his now.. and it still hurts knowing its gone from my hands.. but i see this kid playing it.. with his band.. and i cant help but smile.. its wicked seeing the love he gives it. and the fact that he tells its story to EVERYONE he meets.. i love that.. and because of that story.. all his buddies want me to mod thei instruments now.. pretty cool.. you will regret it.. but you will be comfortable with that regret :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
