Samplesalot Posted October 31, 2011 Share Posted October 31, 2011 I recently got this guitar and it is virtually brand new. I was wondering if it is a limited edition or not. I was told its a 99 Birdseye maple les Paul custom from custom shop. The serial number is 691017 printed and no made in USA on it it does have the Gibson custom shop logo at base of head. StijnV Posted November 10, 2011 Share Posted November 10, 2011 The guitar is probably a 1956 reissue from 1999, but the following pictures would help a lot: * full front, full back, as well as close ups of the front and back of the headstock, with the serial number clearly visible.
