Windmills Optional Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 My wife and I are going to be in London next week and I was wondering if any of you from that side of the pond could offer any suggestions on any music that might be happening or particular venues that we might want to check out. Our musical tastes are pretty broad so most any suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks!

If you like blues and don't mind a late start then I'd recommend the 'Aint Nothing but Blues' bar in Kingly Street which is slap-bang in the centre of town just off the Oxford St / Regent St area and about 50 yards south of the well-known shop 'Liberty'. Bands usually kick-off around 9:30 pm but if you want to sit down I'd suggest getting there mighty early! P.
AlanH Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 West End Theatre is one of the things 'to do' in London and might be right up your street. Plenty of choice, including musicals, here: http://www.show-and-stay.co.uk/london-shows.html and a list of gigs: http://events.xfm.co.uk/gigs/future/?where=london&when=all&s_kwc=TC%7C9096%7Clondon+gigs%7C%7CS%7Ce%7C3953562068&cmpid=Gigs+Location+PPC&fl=woeid%3B44418&CMP=KNC The O2 arena is currently the big London Stadium and Paul McCartney is playing there on the 5th of December.
