bscha Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Christmas came early at our house this year. Santa's elf looked like a fedex driver and was packing a box from elderly instruments. My wife bought me an AER Compact 60! I have been wanting this amp for years. I can report that the amp may be the perfect acoustic amp! Size is just under a foot squared. It packs a very efficient 60 watts, this thing can kick out the sound. It came complete with a really nice padded gig bag. What is most impressive is the sound. It really seems to tame an under saddle pickup and and makes it sound very natural, not harsh at all. This is the sound that I have been hearing in my head and chasing for years. My guitar rig is now much simpler. J45 straight to amp and then di output to the pa when needed. The sound from the di out ot the amp is outstanding. I could not be happier with this amp and highly recommend it. It is quite expensive, but worth every penny.
