Pickguard for 1961 Casino 230T

I'd like to replace my warped white original pickguard with a new parchment colored copy. I haven't yet, though, found anyone that makes replacement pickguards for early Casino/ES330 single pickup models. If anyone knows of such a source, I would appreciate the heads up..... Thanks.

Check in with Terrapin. He has several Casino versions. He's made three different guards for me. You can download a template to see how they fit. On my last Casino guard, I just sent him my original and he made an exact copy (except I wanted to use a Gibson 330 bracket, with no hole). Got them both back in pretty good time. How about a picture of your git?

Sounds like what I'm looking for, but who or what is Terrapin?

Thanks. I'll capture & post her image sometime tomorrow when I get a chance.

Unfortunately, I can't seem to figure out how to upload photos. Attachment feature tells me my quota is practically up ( used 411.84k of 500k..... as I have never uploaded anything on this site, I don't know what they mean ) & my individual max size quota is 88.16k, which renders my photos too small to see.

THANKS, but what did I do wrong?

When writing/editing the post there's a smiley icon in the toolbar of the editor, the next icon is to insert links, then the next one is for inserting images, click on it and paste the link into it. You have to do that for each picture, you can have 8 pictures per post (from memory).

BTW: lovely Cassy you've got there.

Much thanks for the helpful info.

Yes, she's a beaut..... & plays even better than she looks! Got her from a woman who had inherited it from her father 25 years ago, spending it's days since languishing in her closet. He had, however, evidently played it extensively enough during it's previous 25 years of existence to result in a butter smooth, beautifully broken in feel/sound, just short of fretware.

P.S. - I don't know how this will appear on different monitors, but this is not Cherry Sunburst, which wasn't offered this early on in this model's run, it's their Royal Tan.

Whatever the color, it's beautiful. Congrats. I had one very similar to yours for about a year and had to sell it to finance another purchase. If I had a do-over, I would not have parted with it. Great feeling, playing, sounding guitar.

Don't make the mistake - hang onto yours.

Hope you enjoy it!

Love the guitar, she's a beauty. I really like the low-keyed birds eye in the front. You're right, the white guard looks wrong on it. Cream or parchment. Or maybe even tortoise. Update your photos when you get the new guard.

After making that mistake twice with this series ('62 ES-330TD & '60 ES-330T) in the distant past, I'm determined not to be a repeat offender.
