stein
String gauge is what determines the truss rod adjustment and intonation, so it could very well change things. But, in real life, usually I have found that changing string gauges from 10 to 9 does not change it enough to require any adjustments, even as I check things there is usually never an adjustment to make. Don't make adjustments before checking the how the guitar settles in. Change strings, give the guitar a while to settle in with the somewhat lesser tension, then check the neck relief - adjust if necessary. Next, check the action and adjust to your liking, and finally, check the intonation and adjust if necessary. .
