MickeyNJ2
Hello all...was looking around for humidifiers for my guitars....I have to confess that I've been very lucking in the past as I never humidified my FT165 Bard 12 which I've had for about 3 years now or my Penco which I've had since 1979. Both are Lams however I have noticed the FT165 does show a little movement in the winter months(the spacing from the strings to the finger board widens at the lower frets). Now that I have a DR500MCE I'd like to be a little more diligent and humidify. I Was looking at Planet Waves Humidipack – any Comments or Suggestions. dhanners623
This is my favorite -- got one in all four of my guitars: http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Accessories/Humidifier/Oasis_Guitar_Humidifier.html?actn=100101&xst=3&xsr=28710 For the J-45 and my new custom mahogany dread I had built, I also have plastic soap dishes with sponges in them in the case, in addition to the Oasis humidifiers. I live in Minnesota and between the cold/snow and heating, it is hard to over-humidify a guitar in the winter....
RaysEpiphone
I have one of those packets that come with electronics gear in my case, may be good for my guitar or may not be I don't know. I do keep it in an environment that I'm comfortable in myself, not to hot, not to cold. Ray
