wildcat
Hey guys, Thinking about buying my first 335. Mint condition. Mahogany Neck with a profile between a 59 and a slim 60's. I have been playing an 2000 Epiphone 335 Korean made. Very nice player ! But I'm back to work and have a few bucks to spend.NN1.bmp Can you tell me how the 1993 models stack up to other eras? Are they "57"s for pickups? Thanks
69tele
looks good, i just got a 2005 one in a trade and well happy. i also used to have an Epi dot which I sold some years ago but could never bond with. the Gibson however is a keeper ! StijnV
The pickups should be 57 classics indeed; please find attached the specifications from 1992.
wildcat
The pickups should be 57 classics indeed; please find attached the specifications from 1992. Thanks so much. This is a move into a high end guitar for me and I am rather excited about it. After playing the Korean Epiphone 2000 335 for a year I now realize the 335 is the guitar for me after owning solidbodys and hollowbody and for the music, Jazz, that I aspire to play. Given that its a 1993 model in mint condition, does a price of $2400 seem reasonable ? The prices with the market and Ebay seem to jump around so much. But when I go to a local guitar store, this price seems to be what they would ask. BTW the guitar does not have a the original guitar case, but a Ameritage replacement case.
