Aoresteen Posted March 11, 2012 Share Posted March 11, 2012 I got a bit of GAS and I'm thinking of getting an FT-550. I've never played one so I need some advice. Any known issues with this set neck guitar? What would be a fair price for one in excellent condition? What does it sound like? The only thing I would do to it would be ito insstall a Fishman Infinity Matrix under saddle pickup and maybe a new bone saddle. Thoughts? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mooseguy Posted March 11, 2012 Share Posted March 11, 2012 I owned a 550 for one week-Paid $250 for a mint condition one and sold it for $225 as I couldn't wait to get rid of it-Cheesy sounding,just found it to be a miserable axx all round.
