Rus Posted March 21, 2012 Share Posted March 21, 2012 Can someone from Gibson please tell me if they'll be able to build guitars with ebony fingerboards in the near future? I've emailed customer service, and been ignored. The ebony fingerboards would be for a left handed les paul axcess and a left handed sg. GuitarBuilder Posted March 24, 2012 Share Posted March 24, 2012 I'm not a Gibson spokesperson, but judging by the conspicuous absence of Ebony on Customs, I'd say it's not anytime soon. They seem to be out! And, judging by the unwillingness of the Justice department to hear the case (it's indefinitely on hold), this could take a very, very long time!
