JDK
I'm no expert on 80's SG's but does something seem a bit off on this guitar? Especially the selector switch location and fretboard inlays. http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-1983-Gibson-SG-Standard-Electric-Guitar-Black-w-HC-GOOD-COND-/230788952736?pt=Guitar&hash=item35bc17f2a0

zebrafirebird
Looks legit to me. It's the first one I've seen with the switch in that location, but the block inlays were pretty common on 70's SG's. It looks like it's got the funky oblong strap buttons Gibson favored on their rock guitars during the early 80's. They actually work really well. Good luck bidding, if you decide to bid.
