Should I Trade??

So I've decided to sell my MIK Black epiphone casino and have a buyer for $600 this saturday. I thought that was a great price and I'm still considering selling it but I just received another offer and can't make up my mind. This guy wants to trade his alpine white epiphone elitist les paul custom. I'm thinking resell value here because I am in a bit of a financial struggle...Do you think I should sell my casino locally, cash in hand, for $600? Or trade for the les paul and sell it on ebay and pay their fees, deal with shipping, etc. I need the money sooner than later for school so I think it would sell a lot quicker on ebay than locally. What do you think it's worth? Sorry I don't have pictures or what condition it's in but just in general? Discontinued black casino for elitist les paul custom. I think the elitist is a superior guitar but how's the market for them?

Thank you!

Typical ebay on a white elitist custom is in the $700 to $1000 range. If you need the money asap I would take the cash deal. If you are not about to be booted out on the street/starve to death/declare bankruptcy, I would take the trade, keep the elitist and find another way to raise $600 (sell a kidney or something).

haha I like the way you think. I just need to figure out which guitar/equipment would go before the elitist. I wouldn't mind having the les paul for a little while.

That is one sweet looking LP. Probably worth more than $600 with the pickups, but finding a buyer who wants those mods and is willing to pay something for them can be tricky. Another option would be to put the original pickups back in, then sell the guitar and Lindy Fralins separately. Good luck with your decision.

I was thinking about doing that. Thanks for the advice I'm going to try to check the lp out hopefully today or tomorrow.
