I never much look at ebay but I came across this and I wanted to share...

Anyone knows if the corrections that need to be made are very difficult. Are they only needed to let it look good again or are they needed to make it playable again (my knowledge of English and guitar repairs are limited)...before I start bidding I better inform myself a little :)

It's difficult to tell from the snaps how much work needs to be done.

I'm no expert by a long way, but I don't like this quote; "It may need more work than I am aware of to get it to your playing standards."

i.e. it might be totally unplayable.

A competent luthier should be able to sort out the minor niggles and the split seam but the action looks very high and there is no picture which shows if the neck is 'true'/straight.

With no truss rod fitted this area would be my biggest concern.

There are also signs of what could be stress-cracks at the rear running backwards from the heel. If so, what caused them?

Again, a luthier should be able to fix this but I'd like to see more, and better, snaps if I was seriously considering buying the instrument.
