Recently, I've stumbled across a deal on Ebay, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ephiphone-Silverburst-Les-Paul-Custom-w-Dimarzio-Super-Distortion-Pickups-/230874121647 however, I am uncertain if this particular model is genuine or not. Could someone please help me out? I would love to purchase from my local stores for first hand ones but the guitar shops available locally tends to sell it at an extremely high price due to taxes. Gunner Posted November 4, 2012 Share Posted November 4, 2012 The only thing that doesn't look right to me is that the Epiphone logo doesn't seem to be angled as much as most, but that may be normal variation. If it is a fake, it's a darn good one. You might ask the guy if he bought it new through a reputable dealer and if he has any paperwork to back it up. Note he also changed the knobs.
