Whitmore Willy
Covered or uncovered? If covered I use chrome polish. Doesn't matter if they are chrome or nickel. If uncovered I use a very light (only slightly damp) cotton cloth moistened with alcohol. A rag that won't leave a lot of dust particles. These pickups are nickel and over 35 years old: Willy

AnthemBassMan
-No. All you do is remove the four small screws at each corner of the plastic p'up mounting ring. All wiring stays attached. Then after cleaning, just replace the four screws and you're done... L8R, Matt
