Bob Isaac
My link This clip is from 1987 and shows Roy with a slightly different Gibson from a usual 335. There is a knob on the lower treble bout, and the lead appears to come from the side of the body and not the top near the 4 controls as normal. I need to watch the B&W Night Live again to see if it is the same one. Never noticed this before. Bob
bonzoboy
I believe that may be a master volume pot he had installed so that he could turn down the volume on both pickups at the same time mid-song when he had both of them engaged, so that he didn't have to go through the bother of turning them down separately so he could concentrate more on his singing. Bob Isaac
Most likely. Pity it was not included in his Signature guitar in 2006 as that would have made it even more desirable. Bob
