sdnesmithcpa Posted February 19, 2013 Share Posted February 19, 2013 I've had my DR-500MCE for about a week now and I am REALLY enjoying playing this guitar. I happened to stop by Guitar Center tonight on the way home and finally satisfied my curiousity by going into the High Dollar guitar room. Apparently, my ears are not developed enough to hear the difference between my $600 Epiphone and guitars that cost 4 or 5 times as much. They are very nice instruments, don't get me wrong and, although I could afford to buy one, I doubt I could ever justify the expense in my own mind. Just my ramblings... GuitarLight Posted February 19, 2013 Share Posted February 19, 2013 Martin, Gibsons, Taylors, Guilds,...I've owned them all in groups...sold them all too and pocketed the extra money because my Epi masterbilts...3 of them.. DR-500MCE...AJ-500M....and AJ500R ...are everything I'll ever need. I PREFER my Masterbilts to all the others because they really are that good.
