Hawkbaan
Hey all, Recently bought a 2001 Epiphone 5-string Les Paul bass. After having it a while, I decided to fine tune the intonation but quickly discovered that the tune-o-matic bridge had sagged, resulting in good action on the A string but high action on the B and G strings. Tried to nurse it back into shape but it snapped - very brittle metal and a minimal amount of it. The question: Does Epiphone/Gibson have parts available for old instruments? How can I find them? Aux question: Any other ideas for a replacement? Right now I'm looking at machine shops to make me one. Thanks in advance! hawk

ramone57
sometimes an aftermarket version shows up on ebay, but I'm not sure they will fit properly. there's also a seller rice-age musician (or something like that)that sells a lot of Epi parts.
