Big Norm
I have a chance to put my hands on a Ultra II Les Paul in Black, that I find very versatile with the nanomag pickups. Since I'm not a rich man, I would have to let go one of my 2 electric guitars. I have a Casino, that I certainly don't want to part from, so it would have to be my Strat ( a Jimmie Vaughan signature ) that I love but no comparaicon with the Casino I used most of the time. I've been a Strat player for many years, so I found difficult to seperate with it, even if I don't play it a lot these days. My question is: Will the Ultra II makes me happy enough to forget my Strat (I know I could always buy another one ) or for what you know about the Ultra II, I might regret it ? BTW, I'm playing mostly Blues, Beatles and Classic Rock, so I would maybe miss my Strat only for the blues...

IMO, you will really like the Ultra, but regret selling either of the others. Those three would make up a pretty awesome range.

I became reasonnable and followed your advise. I'll keep both of my actual guitars and wait till a "bonus" comes in for an Ultra...
