Thanks Jabberwocky....these are two very different guitars of course. The S400 sounds biiig and deep whereas the 175 has somewhat less of that deep/mid response.The 175 sounds more acoustic and also has a wooden bridge compared to the TOM of the S400. The clarity of both pups are excellent I might add. On Tuesday I will restring the 175 with fresh flats 12's and maybe that will further improve the tone.
