Well, I would say so...even though I've seen a few, locally...but, that was about 10 years ago. I haven't seen any recently. The birdseye certainly was a different looking top. Deke well, son has one he got new about 10 years ago. I don't know if they are rare or not, but it's definitely a nice looking Epi LP and I've not seen many of them myself.
