Alais 345
Hi All My First post & my first Gibson. Unfortunately the photos do not do the quilted maple top justice. She's a beautiful lady; sounds & plays magical. In fact Im finding it hard putting her down!! Thanks
Pin
They are beautiful guitars that's for sure. Mine is a 1959 reissue as per this thread: http://forum.gibson.com/index.php?/topic/121495-es-345-59-vos-ri/ I have never put a photo up of mine but it might just as well have been the guitar in the link I show. I have changed mine slightly from the original. It now sports a tortoisehell pickguard (I much prefer tortoiseshell) and also a TP6 tailpiece which I also prefer. But they are wonderful guitars to view and - even more so - to play.

glider
looks insane- congrats!! btw the upper bouts look a little skinnier than a typical es 335. i know gibson subtly changed the es 335 body a bit in the 60's 70's so does this one have a skinnier pointier upper bout or is just the angle of the photos- either way it looks unreal
