I recently interviewed one of Australia's top Bass players and his production partner about how to make great Bass recordings. I thought people here might be interested to have a read....

I like using a Sans Amp Bass Driver. depending on what I'm recording; I may mic an amp also.

Thanks for posting that!

I like to mic the bass amp using a Shure 57, but I never thought of mic'ing the fingers at the bass as well. Cool concept!!
