warbone
Hello everyone! I won this guitar from a benefit auction at Bonnaroo over the weekend. The serial number is 135010417. The reason I have questions is I can't find another flat white SG made in 2011 besides the Melody Maker line. Anyone have any insight as to what I have? It's autographed by Umphrey's McGee for those curious. Thanks for your time. https://www.flickr.com/gp/150407111@N05/gS48o2 https://www.flickr.com/gp/150407111@N05/8250b4 https://www.flickr.com/gp/150407111@N05/jU79ot https://www.flickr.com/gp/150407111@N05/955E1H
darling67
Interesting. To me, it looks like a "Faded" Series SG... same pickups, headstock, fretboard, etc.
warbone
For anyone curious, I got a response from Gibson customer service about this SG. "SG Special Faded model in Worn White finish, made in 2011 in Nashville, TN. This finish was not made in standard production, but was made in small runs for dealers over the years." Pretty interesting!
Golden
I have seen the Faded with 3-pups and the white guards and the SGJ with no pick guard and your model. I dont think they made any other white fadeds but those three. I could be wrong though maybe a P-90 to?
