  2. Go here: https://www.stillkickinmusic.com/blogs/still-kickin-blog/the-serial-bowl#top It's the largest serial database on the web covering 39 manufacturers. It's updated. You can't find the breadth of serial info anywhere else. cheers
  3. Hi, it's likely a 1992. S is the factory code. Would help to know the country of manufacture and model. Go see my serial number database which covers 39 manufacturers: https://www.stillkickinmusic.com/blogs/still-kickin-blog/the-serial-bowl#epiphone This is most likely the serial scheme for your guitar: FYYMRRRR F = factory ID YY = year of manufacture M = letter code to corresponding month (A=January, B=February, etc...) RRRR = ranking number Example: R01B0123 = Peerless Korea / 2001 / February / unit 0123.
  4. J1v8m2, your question above about the serial number J97081165. Usually the initial letter is a factory code and the following two digits indicate the final two digits of the year. So likely 1997, but would help to know country of manufacture and model. https://www.stillkickinmusic.com/blogs/still-kickin-blog/the-serial-bowl

It's the biggest online source with 39 manufacturers covered: https://www.stillkickinmusic.com/blogs/still-kickin-blog/the-serial-bowl
