I know a couple of long-time, locally successful, regular gigging guitar players in the area that play MIM Strats. They love'em.
I've got a garage sale MIJ Strat. If I ever buy a new Strat, I'll get an MIM.

No groupies here, either; just regular girlfriends. I probably couldn't handle the blow, and I probably couldn't handle (nor afford) the hookers for very long.

I've got a lefty ES 335 with dots. If I had had the option when I bought, I probably would have bought the guitar with blocks, but now, I'm very happy with the dots. To me, now, I like the looks of both.

A futon is a very versatile piece of furniture. During the day, it's an uncomfortable couch, and at night it converts to an uncomfortable bed.
