fumblefinger
ZW, I pretty much agree but I'm willing to put up with Sugarland to hear the fantastic Jennifer. Yeah that Gretchen is fantastic too.
onewilyfool
You know, just to clarify.......I have nothing against Tak guitars.....I was just surprised to see so many on the all-Americana-type showcase of the CMA's. A lot of top country guys play them, either they are a great stage and performance guitar, or Takamine is giving them to performers, or the performers are paid to endorse them, You know, like skiers at the end of their run, they always hold up their skis so the camera catches the logo. My neighbor has a Tak, one of those limited editions....beautiful, and sounds good acoustically, and great plugged in....they just seem out of place on that show for some reason. I don't think Martin pays anyone to use their guitars, but maybe gives the artist edition guitars to the artists.
blindboygrunt
i have to admit , being a non rascist and not an american , that it looks funny (always has) to see a guy with a stetson and a japanese guitar ... dont mind if they do , and i had a takamine for about 15 years and rate them quite highly , but wily's right . odd lookin
