I play through a 30w Marshall with master volume and get pretty good tone from it, or through my beloved boogie blue angel running 15w through a pair of 6V6 tubes, sometimes with a tube screamer in front of it. Both of these tube amps work great in my home music room. If I need to wail at home and the wife and kids are watching American Idol and can't be disturbed, I use a headphone amp.
