blindboygrunt
I've got a buzz on my D string. Are there any tips before I take it to a man?
ParlourMan
What's changed? How's the weather? any dramatic changes in either will probably explain it. If action is very low maybe a wee quarter turn will set you right. * I know saddle & nut are more to do with this, but if neck very straight perhaps a wee bit extra relief is the answer

Jeremy Morton
Guitar is likely a bit on the dry side if it was ok recently. Getting some humidity will likely put the action right where it was. All the best. Jeremy
blindboygrunt
Seems to be the 4th or 5th fret that's the rascal.. Weather has made it rise up a little hair ? I'm gonna take it to a man who knows .. Guitar deserves a proper set up . This buzz is just the catalyst that gets it done finally
Greentone
Could be all you need is a little fret dressing--piece of cake. Still, I have seen too many acoustic guitars that have (1) too low actions, and (2)) no neck relief. There should be _some_ slight up-bow in the neck, or relief. A ruler flat neck on an acoustic will buzz. Also, even great acoustics sound crummy with really low actions.
E-minor7
Just fixed that prob on my re-necked 1966 C&W. Made a paste of strong glue and fine bone/sand dust and smeared it in the nut groove with a thinned match. Made it dry for a good long night -
